Short Description

Learning analytics has become one of the hottest buzzwords in the field of education. Nevertheless, not many research studies providing an overview of learning analytics have been conducted, although such studies can show trends and issues of learning analytics research. This study systematically reviews and analyzes the research studies published in the last 5 years on learning analytics in the field of education in order to provide researchers with directions for future research.
