Educational leaders have called for a more balanced approach to create innovative critical thinkers and problem-solvers by incorporating Arts into STEM (STEAM). Current curricula lack transdisciplinary STEAM learning, exposing the need for teachers to learn to make curricular adaptations to support STEAM lessons. This exploratory study focused on developing the individual capacity of teachers to think like a designer, understand and appreciate other disciplines, and make adaptations to existing curricula using STEAM.
