Mon, Nov 2, 9:00 to 10:15am EST (9:00 to 10:15am EST), Virtual AECT, City5

Short Description

An investigation of the perceptions of rural African instructors on the use of social media in the classroom. Social media supports knowledge construction and engagement in the classroom. An understanding of the instructor’s perception is crucial because majority of rural schools in Kenya face a challenge of lack of confidence in using social media in the classroom, they are not aware of its learning benefits and lack adequate resources to have technology in the classroom.
