Short Description

There’s an urgent need to graduate more, and diverse engineering students. A metropolitan research university in the US Pacific Northwest has a nearly no low income, first generation, underrepresented, minority, graduate-level engineering student population. In early 2021, a needs analysis uncovered the barriers and facilitators faculty, advisors, department chairs, and program administrators, face when recruiting and supporting these students.
