Short Description
#ScholarStrike was a call for scholars in solidarity with the Black Lives Movement. This event took place on September 8 and 9, 2020 during the pandemic lockdown of higher education. Overall, most activities that were reported were Zoom webinars on anti-racism. However, interpretation of the mixed data is uncovering an emergent trend where events went past webinars and were teach-ins that disrupted the virtual classroom and had scholars and students occupying this online space.
