A proliferation of technologies designed to engage children in play-based, computational thinking (CT) activities has coincided with expanding emphasis on preschool children’s CT development. In this session, researchers will present an interpretive phenomenological study which applied the Mosaic Approach to explore the emergence of preschool children’s dispositions to learn during their play with Bee-Bots. The discussion will also examine the influence of practitioners’ direct and indirect guidance on these interactions.
