Short Description

Implicit and explicit biases of healthcare providers can negatively impact patients. As such, the development of cultural proficiency is a central learning outcome in health sciences education; however, it is one that is often unassessed. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the classroom and clinical experiences that contribute to the development of cultural proficiency and quantify these skills in graduate students enrolled at a health sciences university.
