In this qualitative study, we examined spatial experiences of faculty in the context of technology-enhanced active learning classrooms. We analyzed twenty-five reflective portfolios written by faculty between 2018-2020 using content analysis. The focus of the session is to discuss how faculty members described their spatial experiences in classrooms using four space types: (1) perceived space, (2) conceived space, (3) experienced space, and (4) cultivated space and the transformative role of cultivated space for faculty and students.
