Short Description

This roundtable session focuses on the need to consider equity as front-end design value when developing an in-district virtual pathway for K-12 learners. Three K-12 practitioners share their decisions to center social-emotional learning (SEL) as a learning objective not a pathway prerequisite when offering and facilitating placements in online environments. Purposefully integrating SEL competencies within policies and procedures for online learning has ensured more equitable experiences and increased opportunities for student scholastic success.
