Short Description

The values of scaffolding deserve more attention in online/digital learning environments as it helps self-regulated learning through learners’ strong engagement and is highly customizable through technology. To design effective scaffolds for diverse learners and as the learners’ motivation is the substance for successful online learning, this systematic literature of the motivational scaffolding between 2011 and current provides how the motivational scaffolds are utilized and motivate different learners.
