Short Description

In 2021 we investigated Teacher Candidates (TCs) interactions in a synchronous online STEM Technologies course with an embedded anonymous reddit learning community (LC). TCs discussed salient issues facing teachers in their LC and in this session we will discuss lessons learned while designing courses with sustainable social media LCs (SMLC). These SMLCs can improve equity, access, teacher and student outcomes and be embedded in all course modalities and on a variety of social media sites.
