Many countries have restrictive copyright laws and publishers producing inaccessible books. The Marrakesh Treaty was passed in 2013 as a solution to this problem. It focuses on expanding fair use exceptions for people with disabilities so that accessible books can be reproduced. This presentation will highlight the benefits and shortfalls of the Marrakesh Treaty and how this problem might be solved in the future.
