Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) experience unique learning differences, and may particularly benefit from multimedia and explicit instruction with web-based distance learning. This presentation will discuss multimedia principles and explicit instruction techniques, and will present an example of multimedia explicit instruction for web-based distance learning for students with ASD. This poster presentation is for professionals and stakeholders interested in instructional design for learners with ASD with more significant communication and executive functioning difficulties.
