In this presentation, a new instructional design (ID) model for designing microlearning for informal learning environments will be showcased. The Informal Microlearning ID Model is based on previous research in informal learning and microlearning, and emerged as a need in the design of informal microlearning. This session will include what the model is, why it was developed, and how it can be used, focusing on the impact of microlearning in informal environments for learners.
