This study evaluated that the visualizing learning behavior by the NoTAS system can support note-taking in class. The questionnaire revealed that the visualization of important and unclear parts of the class material could support note-taking and learning. However, the note-taking log results exhibited the visualization function did not force learners to write what the teacher wanted them to. Therefore, we suggest that some visualization types may affect different learning strategies.
