Short Description

Evaluation is essential in our field. Design thinking and making design decisions rely heavily on one’s ability to evaluate, and yet, few programs have courses explicitly dedicated to the theory of evaluation and developing evaluative thinking skills. In this session, we will explore the idea of developing evaluative thinking skills in a design context. A new open education resource designed to facilitate the teaching of evaluation to instructional designers will be shared.
