Unlike Obi-Wan Kenobi in “Star Wars: A New Hope,” the title of this panel discussion does not denote an attempt to obfuscate reality. Instead, we invite AECT to engage with leading administrators, scholars, and practitioners as they discuss the practices employed and emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic in a way that connects four themes of futurism with practicality. “Not the future we’re looking for” explores how to positively impact student learning by co-constructing a future of diverse perspectives.
