Short Description

This session will present a research proposal about special education teachers' perceptions about adopting technology to teach vocational skills to high school students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In light of current knowledge regarding existing barriers and teacher practices in using low and high-tech devices for vocational programs. The presenter is planning to observe how teachers measure results in implementing low/high immersion technology within a vocational program. examine teachers’ personal beliefs and professional knowledge regarding the use of low/high immersion technology for vocational programs.
