The purpose of this poster is to discuss a study examining a virtual escape room game-based learning method, the coherence principle, and its impact on student learning and self-efficacy when compared to a multimedia tutorial learning method in a first-year freshman information literacy seminar course at a rural public university in the Intermountain West region of the United States.
