This presentation aims to present findings from the literature review on the use of virtual reality (VR) technology in language learning. Reviewing 25 papers published between 2012 to 2021, we identified three VR design features (building applications/tools, application types, and assets), three instructional processes (strategies, methods, and techniques), and four evaluation strategies (research designs, research purposes, research measures, and research outcomes). We will share more details about the review findings and future research directions.
