Wed, Oct 26, 8:40 to 8:55am PDT (8:40 to 8:55am PDT), Conf Center, Sunset 5

Short Description

This research explores scaffolding strategies used to support Nepali middle and high school students who successfully completed massive open online courses (MOOCs) offered by world leading universities. The research findings revealed factors that supported these students in the self-directed online learning process. Very limited research has been conducted with adolescent student groups, in this particular geographic area, and on exploring scaffolding strategies for MOOCs. The current study addresses this research gap and informs future directions for the research.
