The Past, Present, and Future of VR in Classrooms: A Systematic Review

Short Description

Virtual reality (VR) is gaining increasing popularity in education, as it offers immersive and engaging learning experiences, increases accessibility, and has the potential to personalize the learning process. In this systematic literature review, the current state of VR in K-12 classrooms is examined. Findings reveal that although VR has the potential to enhance student learning and engagement, more research is needed to fully understand its effectiveness and to identify best practices for its use in education.
