This study explores the impact of non-interactive immersive media on memory. Diverging from narrow conceptualizations of immersion, we address its understudied dimensions, hypothesizing that immersive learning experiences can be evoked through non-interactive media forms, such as narratives and images. Using a quasi-experimental design, participants are randomly assigned to engage with one of three forms of media, including a non-immersive form for a control, followed by a free-recall memory test and a survey.
