Evaluating a Cloud and DevOps Online Learning Platform using Learner Experience Design Evaluation Methods

The Cloud and DevOps (CND) platform was designed to provide flexible and real-world training to students seeking to learn cloud computing and development. A LXD study was conducted in two phases: a usage test and focus groups. Results indicated that the CND platform was marginally usable. Several usability concerns were raised (feedback, timeliness) with design suggestions including simplifying the complexity to improve the learnability of the system and enhancing its usability and instructional design.
