AECT 2022 Convention Page
Prior research has highlighted the importance of practices of dissertation chairs to doctoral candidates’ progress and completion of doctoral dissertations in the online environment. In this study, fifty-three faculty completed an open-ended survey regarding the strategies, and institutional support that they found most helpful in the e-mentoring of doctoral dissertations. Strategies related to communications, research process, student support, and institutional support that were most helpful will be discussed.
