This concurrent session seeks to illuminate how a trauma-informed approach to K-12 faculty professional development necessitates a reconsideration of structure and timeline of learning outcomes. Beyond tenets of adult learning theory, considering trauma-informed approaches when building continuing education sessions for faculty post-pandemic, especially continuing education sessions that seek to address elements of emergency remote modality learning, such as digital tool use, can shift focus from developing resilient individuals to developing a resilient learning ecosystem.
