Short Description

This study aims to design and develop effective online tutorials for Google Maps and Uber to promote safe mobility and independence for seniors with cognitive impairment. Considering both cognitive learning theories and the unique learner characteristics, the authors formulated key design principles to develop online tutorials. Three online tutorials were developed: a meta-tutorial, Google Maps tutorial, and Uber tutorial. Future research will focus on the iterative design and development process to improve the tutorials.
