AECT 2022 Convention Page
This presentation will share context, methods, and results of an artificial intelligence (AI) themed middle school teacher professional development experience (PD). The PD consisted of two parts: (I) a week-long PD workshop and (II) the implementation of AI, specifically machine learning, and paleontology focused standard aligned lessons. During phase I, teachers learned about the basics of AI, its implications in society and K-12 education, and lessons. Phase II engaged students in the workshop lessons.
