Short Description

Simulations have been proven effective, but they can be cost and resource intensive. Branching scenarios offer a lower cost alternative to high fidelity simulations by presenting cases in an immersive fashion, relating a patient’s story while also allowing students to make clinical decisions based on the information presented. This research examines the effectiveness of using evidence-based branching cases in a pediatric nursing course.
