AECT 2022 Convention Page
A faculty professional development (PD) model for VR/AR integration to enhance student learning experiences was implemented, and is currently ongoing in the College of Education and Professional Studies at a university in the southeastern United States. VR/AR experiences are transformative and extend learning where logistical and financial barriers exist. This design research study focuses on a PD model and best practices for preparing faculty members to design and integrate VR/AR immersive learning experiences.
