Short Description

Self-regulated learning (SRL) skills are critical to an online learning community. This study investigated: How student closeness in online discussions will change over time? How student’s SRL skills moderate the trend of student closeness in social interaction during an online discussion? In addition, the stable development of closeness centrality was observed on levels of SRL skills. Students maintained and sustained strong socio-interconnectivity in the learning community and networks and persisted as competent communities of learners
