The is a teacher shortage in PA, and a large disparity BIPOC teachers (5%-7%) when compared to BIPOC students (30%). This session describes a case that uses systems thinking with Collective Impact to increase the local teacher pipeline with three initiatives that emphasize increasing BIPOC teacher candidates. Partners from different organizations, that rarely collaborate, use common measurements, create a shared agenda, and collaborative solutions for sustainability.
