This presentation will report three studies' results from a working-in-progress project which aims to measure the effect of changing teaching strategies on students' self-efficacy in engineering education based on SCCT (Social Cognitive Career Theory). This presentation will show how remote learning has affected engineering-related social cognitions, the challenges when students learn engineering concepts online, and the faculty's choice and feedback on online teaching strategies. We hope to provide better educational assistance for online engineering courses.
