Short Description

ClassDojo is a widely popular app used for Pk-12 classroom management. Recently, critical Ed-Tech scholars have been advocating for approaches to technology that examine whether or not they have been designed ethically. As such, we, as pre-service educators, adopt a techno-ethical approach to examine the pedagogical and ethical effects of using ClassDojo. Our initial findings indicate that ClassDojo can reinforce behaviorist teaching and learning practices in exchange for pedagogically-sound practices.
