Short Description

A core job responsibility for instructional designers working in higher education is to support faculty and student learning. To become effective help givers, instructional designers should incorporate help-seeking as their current pool of competencies. This session presents findings of a study surveying the literature on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes expected as instructional designers as they relate to supporting help-seeking throughout the instructional design process.
