Enhancing AI Convergence Competency in Pre-service Teachers : A Study on the Development of an Educational Program

Short Description

Teachers need AI convergence competency to teach using artificial intelligence, but teacher training programs in Korea lack sufficient curriculum. This study developed an educational program for pre-service teachers using the RPISD methodology and implemented it on 19 students at S University. The program significantly improved the students' AI efficacy, data literacy competency, and overall satisfaction. This study is important for training teachers with necessary AI convergence capabilities in the future society.
