Perspectives About the State of Undergraduate Computing Education in Nigeria

Short Description

This research involves a review of the state-of-the-art regarding STEM and computing education in tertiary institutions in Nigeria and Africa, from the perspectives of the existing literature; identifying successes, drawbacks, and recommended solutions. The discoveries from literature are then compared to the results of qualitative data drawn from the recent perspectives of employers of computing talent, recent computing graduates, and computing lecturers (professors). The implications of the research data and results are then discussed.
