Centers for Teaching Excellence (CTE) in higher education institutions in the US serve as an important department in improving effective teaching and learning practices. The CTE directors play a critical role in the success of the centers. This study will explore the essential roles and required competencies of the CTE directors by utilizing the Delphi method to find the consensus among directors from various institutions in the US.
