This presentation presents the findings from a systematic review of the peer-reviewed articles published between 2018–2022 which focused on massive open online course (MOOC) discussion forums. We synthesize 74 peer-reviewed articles around three themes of purpose, techniques, and outcomes. Future research directions and considerations are shared.
