Exploring the Design and Development of a Module for Preservice Teachers Learning to Teach Online

Short Description

Attendees will be introduced to a problem-centered intervention for developing preservice teachers' competencies as designers of virtual instruction. Following an overview of the guiding instructional design frameworks and a demonstration of the developed online module, attendees will discuss the ongoing implementation of this intervention and how it compares to other approaches for preparing preservice teachers as designers of virtual instruction.
