Short Description

This article describes current issues Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) community faces when using Multi-Modal Learning Analytics (MMLA) to analyze collocated collaboration. We specifically discuss around the technical issues faced by researchers with regards to data integration focusing around current practices on aggregation and synchronization of data from various sources and what that means for researchers. We suggest a list of decisions that can be made during the research design phase to implement MMLA effectively.
