Students’ perceptions of using teacher-AI interaction to enhance their literacy skills

Short Description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven tools address the need to balance reducing instructors' workload, especially for automatable tasks, while striving to maintain the perception of an instructor-student interaction. This session will present the results from research conducted in a class that used AI to grade academic essays on grammar and style, while the educators graded on content. Findings focus on student attitudes toward the AI and highlight the importance of responsible innovation.
