Short Description

To understand adult female immigrants' efforts to pursue their dreams while adapting to the United States, a female doctoral student developed a qualitative study to investigate the trajectories of female immigrants after their arrival. A major focus is the role of formal education and other factors in supporting workplace success. This poster describes the trajectory of female immigrants from arriving in the United States, learning English, receiving their degree, and leading high-level job positions.
