Exploring Educators’ Perceptions of ChatGPT: For Whom Is it Useful and Easy to Use?

Short Description

This study explores educators' perceptions of adopting the advanced-AI chatbot ChatGPT. We collected 240 posts and 3,465 comments mentioning ChatGPT from 25 education-related subreddits. Drawing on the technology acceptance model (TAM), qualitative content analysis will be conducted to explore educators’ perceptions and identify themes. The results will provide an initial understanding of educators’ perceptions towards ChatGPT as well as implications for educational practitioners and researchers.
