This longitudinal and comparative study investigated sentiments toward emergency remote teaching in tweets posted in English and Turkish from January 10 to August 16, 2021, when mass vaccinations started and continued. Both Turkish and English tweets incorporated more positive than negative sentiments. Average sentiment scores of Turkish tweets was closer to zero and stable English tweets decreased over time and remained mainly positive or above zero. Implications and directions for future research will be discussed.
