Measuring Digital Literacy from Bloom’s Taxonomical Perspective: Development and Validation of an Instrument for Teachers

Wed, Oct 18, 7:00 to 7:50am EDT (7:00 to 7:50am EDT), AECT Virtual Sessions, Zoom Room 9

Short Description

The study examines primary school teachers’ digital literacies, and a digital literacy scale was developed based on a newly defined digital literacy framework. For this purpose, the digital literacy concept was described with 54 components under three domains. Each component was categorised using Bloom’s Taxonomy, and scale items were worded concerning the taxonomy requirements. As a result, 11 digital literacy components were scaled with 12 items, and participants reported they have related digital literacy components.
