Informal Learning and Decision-Making Practices of Leadership Coachees

Tue, Oct 17, 7:00 to 7:50am EDT (7:00 to 7:50am EDT), AECT Virtual Sessions, Zoom Room 3

Short Description

Leadership coaching is gaining momentum within organizations worldwide. Although these coaching initiatives promote the skills, knowledge, and attitudes for coachees to thrive in leadership roles, they often need to supplement their coaching. One of the methods is self-directed, informal learning. This proposed study will examine how coachees use informal learning to supplement their leadership development coaching. We will also explore the decision-making processes involved in these informal learning practices.
