Supporting Teacher Learning for Technology Integration: A Holistic View

Abstract

This multi-case study contextually examines the role of formal structures within a holistic view of the ways teachers learn, including informal communications with colleagues, and independent research, to consider how teachers utilize all three approaches and how to leverage their specific affordances to maximize teacher learning. We discuss how these approaches might be considered together as working parts of the same holistic system for teacher learning, and how technology might knit together these aspects of teacher learning.
