Faculty across multiple disciplines and preservice teacher education programs in one School of Education present how they implement technology as a course innovation to provide effective preparation for teacher candidates. These technology innovations are part of shared understanding of good teaching and learning. Using a variety of technology tools including podcasts, wikis, videos and online courses, faculty from elementary, secondary, special education and TESOL provide examples of the strategic use of technology to improve specific teaching and learning outcomes for their teacher candidates. Data for this work comes from a variety of sources including online discussion boards, exams, reflections, case studies, lesson plans, and teaching videos.
