Session Submission Type: Symposium
This panel discussion is composed of Critical Race Theory (CRT), Latina/o Critical Theory (LatCrit) Critical Race Feminism (CRF) and Tribal Critical Race Theory (TribCrit), scholars are engaged in research in the field of ethnic studies, higher education, and K-12 public education. The symposium is designed to inform educational theory, research, and practice by integrating the various innovative perspectives and directions of critical race theories. The session is also intended to facilitate a discussion on coping, research, and tenure strategies across all stages of the professoriate pipeline from a critical mass of scholars of color working at a predominately white research institution in one of the most racially homogeneous state’s in the nation.
